Right now is my favourite time to shop. I love shopping all the time but when new season stock comes in, I’m like a little kid at Christmas. I have been trying to find ‘my style’ which has proven to be a lot harder than it sounds. I love dresses and skirts and the occasional ripped jeans but is this really a style? To be honest with you, I still don’t think that I have found my style but recently I have been loving the whole boho look.

This Autumn/Winter I am trying to wear more vibrant colours. I usually go for the neutral colours because that’s what I feel comfortable with and also, you can never go wrong with a black and white outfit! Gradually, I have started adding more colour to my wardrobe and my outfits are becoming more boho and vibrant!

As usual, I have been shopping at Forever New (what a surprise!) and I have also found some really nice clothes at Sportsgirl. For me, Sportsgirl is one of those shops that you can go into one day and find everything that you love and the next day, there is nothing… but recently, I have found things that I have loved!

Sooo, I thought that I would share with you my recent favourite purchases!!

Magenta Jumper (similar):

This is one of those items that I wasn’t too sure about buying. It is very intense and I was worried that it was too overpowering. Buying something that is so vibrant can be scary but oh my, I am so glad that I bought this! I have had this for two seasons now (the reason why it is no longer available) but I still love it!! I usually like wearing this with black jeans and a black top underneath. I LOVE rolled neck jumpers like this. I don’t think that I own a jumper without a rolled neck. It just adds a whole new dimension to the look. I definitely recommend buying something vibrant like this to add into your wardrobe. Yes, it can be scary buying something that you aren’t used to wearing but I assure you that it won’t be a mistake.

Tan Suede Skirt:

THIS SKIRT IS TO DIE FOR! Ok, maybe that is a bit of an over exaggeration but it has to be one of my favourites. Tan coloured clothes are something that I am loving at the moment and this skirt has shown me why I love tan so much. It is so comfortable!! I think that the suede material is so soft that it isn’t a skirt that I feel uncomfortable in. I find that some skirts can move around a lot while you’re wearing them and the whole time you are feeling uncomfortable and worrying that you will flash everyone when you stand up!! With this skirt, I feel so comfortable and I love matching this with a black top, tights and ankle boots.

Checkered Skirt:

After buying the suede skirt, it didn’t take a lot to persuade me to fall in love with this skirt! Although this skirt does have neutral colours, I love the pattern and how you can match it with EVERYTHING! I wear this skirt with tights, ankle boots and a black jumper. Even though I said that I am trying to wear more vibrant colours, I still love my neutral outfits!!

Black and White Snood:

Oh, my love for snoods is indescribable! Why wear a scarf when you could wear a snood? For those who don’t know, a snood is basically an infinity scarf that I love! This is the first snood that I have ever owned but just to let you know, it won’t be the last. The patterns on this scarf are so pretty and you can wear snoods in so many different ways. I usually wrap mine around twice to make sure that it isn’t too long and that it keeps me warm as well.

Burgundy Dress:

This dress is another outfit that I’m not used to but I have grown to love! This is my idea of boho so that’s what I’m talking about when I say boho! This dress (which you can see the full length on the website) comes in at the waist and can be pulled down to make the dress more a-line or it can be pulled up at the waist to be more loose and flowy. It is longed sleeved and have sleeves that come in at the wrists. Once again, this is an outfit that can be worn in so many different ways! With tights and boots or with bare legs and heels. I haven’t worn this out yet but I will let you know when I do!
