DIY Coffee Scrub| How To Make Coffee Scrub

The smell of coffee is on my list of favourite smells (yes! I have a mental list of favourite smells) but when it comes to drinking coffee, I don’t have the same love… I don’t know why but the taste of coffee just isn’t appealing to me WHATSOEVER.

But, when it comes to coffee scrub, now that’s something that I love! I first tried coffee scrub last year and I instantly fell in love! When I used all of my coffee scrub, I never seemed to buy it again. Now don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t because I didn’t love it, it was just one of those lazy moments where I couldn’t be bothered buying another one (oops!) So when I found that I could make my own coffee scrub… at home… now that was a win, win situation for me!

So for all of you lazy people out there (everybody has those moments) here is a DIY coffee scrub for youuuu ♡

You will need:

~ 1 healed cup of instant coffee

~ 6 melted tablespoons of coconut oil

~ An empty jar (you can use the empty instant coffee jar if you have nothing else)

~ Spoon

Now.. Let’s getting makin’

  1. Measure out the coconut oil and place it in the microwave until it turns to liquid
  2. Place the instant coffee and coconut oil into a large bowl
  3. Using your spoon, mix the coffee and coconut oil until well combined
  4. Spoon your scrub into an empty jar and voila!

It’s honestly as simple as that! I just use this in the shower about twice a week on my arms and legs and step out of the water for 5 minutes and exfoliate my skin with the scrub before stepping back under the water and washing the scrub away!

Then… you’re skin will be as soft as a cloud!
